The Mississippi “Magnolia” Chapter of SWANA invites you to attend the 2014 SWANA Spring Conference at the Hollywood Casino located along the sunny Mississippi Gulf Coast in Bay St. Louis, May 6-8, 2014.
The 2014 Spring Conference will offer attendees a chance to learn from several experts in the industry and regulatory community on topics that deal with the technical, practical, and regulatory aspects of successful solid waste management facilities in Mississippi.

Golf Information
A golfing excursion is planned for noon on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at The Bridges at Hollywood Casino. More course information available at www.hollywoodbsl.com/Golf. Tee times to be announced closer to the event date.
Cost is $70.00 per person and includes golf, carts, balls, and lunch. Awards will be presented for the winning team.
Fishing Information
A fishing outing is planned for Wednesday, May 7, 2014, through Shore Thing Fishing Charters. Costs would include soft drinks, bottled water, snacks, ice, fuel, rods and reels (or bring your own), tackle, live bait, licenses, fish cleaning and bagging. More info at www.shorethingcharters.com.
Costs will depend on how many people can go. Prices will range from $112 to $175 per person for the 4-hour fishing trip with 4 people per boat minimizing costs. March 31, 2014, was the deadline for response.
Recycling Center Visit Information
Waste Pro of Mississippi, Inc., has invited the MS Chapter of SWANA to tour the brand new recycling center in Gulfport. This is a great opportunity to see an example of a singlestream recycling operation. No cost will be associated with this visit. Transportation and time details to be announced closer to the event date.
