The Mississippi “Magnolia” Chapter of SWANA invites you to attend the 2020 SWANA Fall Conference in the Bluff City at the Natchez Convention Center in historic downtown Natchez, MS. The conference, sponsored by Pickett Industries, Plum Container, and tarpARMOR, will offer attendees a chance to learn from experts in the industry and regulatory communities on topics that deal with the technical, practical, and regulatory aspects of safe and successful solid waste management. The conference will be held October 13-15, 2020.
Additionally, the MOLO Certification Course will be offered concurrently with the conference starting October 12, 2020. Registration for the MOLO Course is available in the MOLO Course tab below. Only the course will be offered.
With travel restrictions and health concerns in mind, we are happy to announce that the MS Chapter of SWANA is offering for the first time the ability to register as a VIRTUAL attendee allowing registrants to view the conference remotely via live webinar. See the Conference Registration tab below for virtual attendance registration options.

The safety and health of our attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and other conference guests is our top priority, and we are working with the hotel, conference venue, and other local establishments to provide a safe and enjoyable stay for all who attend in person. However, please note that we are continuing to monitor the spread of COVID-19 in Mississippi and may still have to make the decision to cancel any in-person event. Additionally, we are well aware of he unfortunate reality that many will be under travel restrictions but also the critical need for continuing education hours of the solid waste operators in MS and our neighboring states.
With all this in mind, we are working on the ability to provide an online experience for those unable to join us in person as well as a fully online alternative in the event we make the decision to cancel the in-person conference. Stay tuned for further information.
EVENT PRECAUTIONS
At this time, masks must be worn by all attendees during the conference and while in public areas in Natchez.
We ask that all in attendance please be mindful of the safety of others and be patient as we take all proper precautions at the registration desk, in the conference and exhibitor areas, and during our networking events. We encourage frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizing stations as well as maintaining at least 6 feet of distance from other attendees to the extent practical. The Convention Center allows for extra space in between seats in our conference session area as well as ample space in between exhibit booths to prevent heavy crowds from forming. Networking activities including golf, our well-loved clay shoot, and networking dinner at the Natchez Community Center will go on as planned but will be managed to achieve proper social distancing.

EXHIBITOR AND SPONSOR REGISTRATION
Sponsorship is requested for all networking events during the conference. Sponsorship will grant your company recognition throughout the conference and special events. Sponsorship is $600.00 and includes conference admission for one (1) attendee.
Exhibit space will be available for companies who desire to display their products or services. The early registration ($100 discount) fee for exhibit space and conference admission for two (2) attendees, is $600.00 through September 18. After September 18, the standard fee of $700 will apply.

MOLO COURSE REGISTRATION
Early registration ($100 discount) fee for participation in the MOLO course is $800 through September 18. After September 18, the standard fee of $900 will apply. Please note that all SWANA certification exams are now being administered online through www.swana.org. The MS Chapter will ONLY be offering the MOLO course during this conference and WILL NOT be administering the MOLO certification exam.

On Wednesday, October 14, there will be networking events available which are included in your registration fee. These are great opportunities to connect with other conference attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.
GOLF
There will be a golf outing at the Duncan Park Golf Club. Golf cart, lunch, and drinks will be provided. Club rentals are extra.
CLAY SHOOT
There will be a clay shoot outing at the Clear Creek Hunting Camp. Bring your own gun if you can, but lunch and ammo will be provided.
NETWORKING BANQUET SPONSORED BY PICKETT INDUSTRIES
On Wednesday night, all attendees and guests are invited to the spacious Natchez Community Center right across the street from the north side of the Convention Center for an evening of food and fellowship. Pickett Industries will be providing some great food, and there will be a very competitive cornhole tournament as well as other games and door prizes for all that attend. COVID-19 guideline will be closely followed to ensure the safety of those in attendance.
